Female at last light from my backyard yesterday. This is my favorite BY bird, and we call her "Maybelline". She has more red over her eyes and a touch more red in her breast than the other female cardinals that visit...I guess she overdoes it with the makeup in the morning!
I had all of my equipment serviced by Canon last week, and I might be imagining it, but I think I'm getting better results at Iso 400 regarding noise.

That's just an awesome image. The large version really shows off the excellent detail and the BG really sets off the bird. Nice job.
