Prairie Sunrise Pano

It seems like I shot one or more panos every time I go out lately. On the prairie it is so hard to get the entire effect of a scene in a single image. This is a 5 image pano combined in PSE9. That is one thing I like about living on the prairie is you can see the sky and the sunrises and sunsets. I had to adjust my exposure as I panned because the brightness varied across the scene. I know it is harder to evaluate a pano because of size restrictions, but I do appreciate all comments and critiques.

Canon 40D
Sigma 17-70
Shutter 0.4, 0.3, 1/4, 1/6, 1/5
Aperture f14
ISO 400
63mm
Tripod and remote shutter release
Cropped some from the bottom

I wish there were a way to see this in detail. The sky is great and really does speak of the vastness and glory of a prairie sky. I do wish for some detail or shape in the foreground and knowing full well the challenge of finding shapely foregrounds in the prairie I recognize that I may be asking for the nearly impossible. You balancing exposures and combining images looks great.

Pretty scene Richard, love the large expanse of sky and warm colors, I also like how you presented the foreground, this works very well for me. Beautiful work.

Magnificent pano Richard! Even shows well and has a wonderful impact at this size. The color, saturation and your processing in general is excellent here. Beautiful sky.

I like the textures in the clouds and the vibrant colors. This really has an abstract feel to it with the featureless landscape. I think that I would like to see at least some detail in the landscape though.

Nice job stitching these. The colors in the sky are beautiful. I think I would prefer something with more interest in the FG but the sky is the show so it works as presented.

i love th ebeautiful colors--especially the variations of red in the sky. I comes across to me as almost an abstract painting which is beautiful.
