I like it! A lot! I am hardly ever a fan of high key with birds, even less of partial tinting, but this is very tastefully done, without being blatantly obvious. Good work, Rebecka!

Very nice high key image, Rebecka! The tinting makes the eyes stand out and gives the feeling that he is looking at me very intently.

Very well done! Every element pulls together perfectly - high key, tinted eyes and B&W.

Wow, what a striking image and a unique way to present a gull, of all things. Really well done, and I do love this pic!

This is very nice, Rebecka. This is a photo that demands that you participate in looking at it. The tone and the attitude of the birds head, with the tint brings a lot of emotion to it.

the soft look works well, with the bird just separated enough from the background.

Well done, Rebecka... well done. The technical aspects really work here, plus the contemplative nature of the gull's expression makes this a real winner. :toast:

Really, really beautiful. The near-seamless flow of the white from the bird's neck to the background is mesmerizing and sublime. Nice job getting a perfectly straight-on view of the gull as well -- it really is a nice portrait.
