Fishing Line Kills Birds

When traveling the more accessible areas of the Everglades I often find fishing line hanging from trees, strewn on the ground, or attached to something in the water, like a bird or alligator.
In this image an Ibis got caught in a strand hanging high in a tree. From the small size of the pond it was apparent the fisherman hadn't needed to cast that far at all. Another senseless death.
