We went on a lava viewing tour with Kalapana Cultural Tours while on our recent trip to Hawaii this December. The opportunity to view lava flowing into the ocean was one of the most incredible experiences we've ever had the privilege to see. Any comments or suggestions would would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.

This is way cool. (OK, way hot would be more accuate) You might have zoomed in more or cropped to remove some of the red glow on the right, but each to his own taste. The blurred water really adds to the mood of the shot. Well done.

This is sure something impressive to see and to photograph. The comp is not really my thing here......the red glow on the right is a too distracting for me. I would rather crop this part or the image or the next time zoom in a bit more. Also I would love to see some more details in the darks.

Thanks for the comments. I really wanted to get further out on the cliff which would have given me a view of the flow causing the near vapor cloud but it was just too dangerous as it was on a rather sketchy lava bench.
