This image is from Douglas Falls near Thomas, WV. It was a cloudy, misty day with intermittent sun, nice for doing waterfall photography. Any comments and/or suggestions welcome. Thanks. Chet

Really nice composition. Love the colorful trees and SS you chose for the waterfall.

Pretty series of falls. I' m thinking the upper one might be deserving of a comp of its own. Nice image

I like the sunlight in the center...very beautiful & cheerful scene. Also the shutter speed you chose is perfect...there is some blurring but it was still fast enough to make it look very dynamic.

This is a very pretty scene! But I am a bit distracted by the shine on the rocks. I think it takes away from the beauty of the falls. A circular polarizer would take that shine right out,.Otherwise, everything else is good!

Nice comp thought the sheen on the rocks is a bit strong. A polarizer, of course, could help cut this.

A strong and consistent composition for me, Chet. Your choice of shutter speed works very well for me, you kept just enough details in the water. The gloss on the wet rocks might be at bit strong, yet to my eye it still enhances the power of the falls.

A little hot on highlights but it works for me Chet. A nice autumn scene. Douglas falls is a little bit of sad beauty for me given that acid mine drainage resulted in it's unnaturally colored orange rocks.

Chet, A very pretty scene you found here. Looks like a great place to spend some time shooting! I agree with the others about the sheen on the rocks being just a bit strong. Some beautiful fall color here!...
