I don't know the name of this yellow spider. But I like the color harmony.

Think I would have called it "beauty and the beast." Lovely flower with spider and petal in sharp focus.

Basri, the purple flower makes an excellent background for the yellow spider. Yellow and purple (opposite colors on the color wheel) always make a great combination. Excellent eye level, head on perspective, with the spider perfectly positioned in the frame. Well done, all around.

Composition appears to be good. In the larger version the white drops on the leaf are distracting and the leaf appears to be sharper than the spider. My 2-cents.

I also love the color harmony in this, Basri. The purple is such a rich-looking color. The lighting in this helps highlight the lovely colors and seems to put the spider in the spotlight. I like the shade of yellow on the spider and the rippled texture in his abdomen. Don't know ID but we have somewhat similar spiders, called Crab Spiders that like to lie in wait on flowers to catch bugs that visit the flower. May be a variation on those. Nice comp although I think I might have cropped up a bit from the bottom to get rid of the OOF area in the bottom right. Would still be a great comp. . . more of a pano though. Good focus on the spider's head and body.

I like how your dof and composition choices put the spider and a sharp petal in the middle of the image. I agree with Carolyn that this looks like a crab spider of some sort. Your picture shows nicely how they lie in wait. This one looks ready to pounce. Well done.
