I like the minimalism, the details in the pupae and the strong light, Lucy. It's a very nice view at an often overlooked part of the natural world. I do wish the near tip of the pupae was also in focus and wonder about the blue/magenta color case....but I wasn't there. I also find myself wishing for more space on the right so that the pupae wasn't so centered.

Mark has made most of my comments for me, so I won't repeat them here. I am wondering if just a slight touch of fill light, or a reflector, might have brought more detail out of the shadows.
