Love the action and detail in this one, Jagdeep.
Feels very very tight in the frame, though, so I wonder if you have room to back off a little?

Nice catch of the action. It does look tight in the frame. I wonder if you could try a verticle crop, cutting off most of the rear of the elephant focusing on the splash. Just a thought. Thanks for sharing.

Good shutter speed selection to show the power wash. The low iso and warm low angle light really shows off the nice colors and textures in the hide. Is there another elephant behind this one that lead you to clip his back side, I also find the crop to be rather tight.

Hi Jagdeep,

This is definitely a shot that makes you look twice! The spray/splash is very interesting and I think you picked close to the perfect shutter speed - the action is appropriately blurred yet the rest of the elephant is still nice and sharp. I do find the crop awkward - this is a case where I'd like to see it looser to include the whole elephant (it has that "accidentally clipped" look) or much tighter to emphasize the spraying. Given the main point of interest here I'd argue the best route to go would be much tighter (to emphasize the spraying). But that's just my 2 cents worth!

Cheers...

The spray action is great. Put me in the camp that would prefer a much tighter crop...

Thanks friends!
This was almost full frame, so this was the only option for new crop.

Really like the crop too. Good image overall, especially the spray action.

WOW!! Awesome photo! I love how the dirty water looks spraying onto him! It's neat that you caught him doing this!

Hi Jagdeep,

I much prefer the tighter crop - the "action" stands out so much better.

Cheers...

I do like the repost much better than the original. IMHO it is a more powerful image. Thanks for sharing.
