A waterfall in Johnston Canyon, Banff NP, Canada. A nice place. A pity that I was a bit in a hurry and had no time to visit the ink pots...
Please have a look at the larger version, too! Thanks for commenting.

I love this place, Basil Greber; camped there two nights on my motorcycle trip through there.
The colors in your image bring back my memories so strongly; especially the emerald green color of the water. That comes from the disperson of rock flour that comes from glacier melt. At the Kickinghorse River, you can see the distinct line where emerald green water from a glacier blends with brown.
I really like your composition with the diagonal liine of the rim leading in from the right bottom corner into the waterfall. The colors in it truly capture the almost electric vibrance one experiences in being there. The sharpness that emerges in the larger version is great.
Having been through this area at least eight times, I think your image is an excellent example of the beauty that abounds there, all along the Icefields Parkway, and over to Kamloops through Rogers Pass on 101.

I really like this location - has a lot of potential for various compositions. I would eliminate the long branch protruding through the waterfall and maybe work on the overall toning of the image which could perhaps benefit from curves adjustments or increases in selective contrasts.

I like the scene and the perspective. This presentation maybe feels a bit warm and over-exposed.

Quiet an unique perspective - at least for me. I love the color of the water. The overall toning is a bit too warm for my taste. I agree with Luke that this could benefit from curve adjustment. Beautiful scene

I also agree with Luke's ideas as I find the backround areas warm. But I really like the composition. Nice work.

This shot is just another reason to love the Canadian Rockies. Beautiful.

Thanks for all your comments! Though I intentionally left the color balance a bit warm, I may have gotten over the top. The re-post is a bit less warm and a bit more contrasty. Is that better?
