This is a picture taken a while ago. It was october 2011 at Stellisee. On that particular trip I met up with Andreas Resch, Dietrich Glogger and Giovanni Rusello.

Bill,
Lots of thought placed on the position of capture here with regard to the main BG peak. The primary positioning of the peak reflection weaving through the rock on the right and the grass clumps on the left is perfect. Barely fitting the narrow path but all made it through very nicely. Colors and detail enhances the image as well as the tiny full moon even at this very wide angle image size.

Bill, What a fantastic view!! and I think you captured a wonderful mood here. The light and color are beautiful and I just love the reflections and glass smooth surface of the water. Nice work!

Wonderful composition and I like the subtle tones in the rocks/grasses and the peaks of the mountains. It's refreshing to see an appropriately sized moon - who cares if it's a little "blown".

splendid view, and beautiful image. Very relaxing, sort of suspended. Excellent balance, and a very natural look.

Lots of lines leading to the peak and the moon. They and their reflections play off each other beautifully.

An exceptionally beautiful shot for me, Bill. The moon together with the reflection counteracts and balances the majestic summit wonderfully to my eye. The perfectly smooth surface of the lake conveys the tranquility of the scene impressively to me.

Very nice scene. I like the comp with the almost exaggerated foreground. Certainly enough variation that it works.

Lovely look. I especially like the grasses leading to the horn, the perfect reflections and the touches of light on the tips of the peaks. The full moon is also a nice addition.

Sweet light, and beautiful view! There is a lot of empty spaqce on the bottom. This might work better as a pano?
