You Lookin' At Me?

Here's another one from Alaska. This is the cub I called "Haines" giving me a good, hard look. He had been in the forest for a while and had finally decided to come out for food. Before making his way to the shore he decided to sit down and take a look at the photographer.

I really like the pose he has here. I wish the pipe his paw is on wasn't there, but I guess there's not much you can do about that.

Thanks for lookin' :wavey: !

I like the pose that you captured and your composition. Good details and I like the eyes very much. Pipe doesn't bother me in the least, and if it wasn't there you might not have this great pose. Maybe I'm just too use to finding junk laying around, even in the middle of nowhere, and I guess that in itself is a sad thing to admit.

Jenaya, I like the cautious curiosity in his expression and body language. Nicely framed by the alder too. Have to agree that the pvc pipe is unfortunate. Low light likely had you squeezed for dof, but I would like to see just a bit more to render the vegetation sharper.

I like his look, but like the others, I think the pipe is a significant distraction. You handling of techs is looking very good.
