Electricity

Maybe a bit of a pretentious title, but this somehow reminded me of electricity going through the sky.... This is a long exposure during twilight, while clouds drifted by.

Sweden, May 2011. 127 mm (35 mm equivalent), 30 sec, f/11, iso 100.

Hi Roel - I really like the concept here but I might bring up the light portions to accentuate the "electricity". I think the silhouettes work well here.

Hi Eva!

I agree with you with the lights.... It was the first thing I thought after posting the picture, and at first I thought I had confused some files or forgot to change the colorspace to sRGB, but that was not the case. My guess now is that it has to do with the white background of this site, as the light parts in my picture aren't that light. Viewing it on a darker background 'brightens' the light parts in the picture (for me at least). Anyway, here is a version which hopefully looks better!

Hi Roel, I much prefer the second version where the silouettes stand out much better. Interesting concept.

This is really neat! The added contrast in the repost helps nicely. I could see cropping a bit from the top so that some of the light clouds are in the urc.
