Keel-billed Toucan

On my last visit to Panama it was reported that a Keel-billed had been spotted hanging around the Gamboa Rainforest Resort-and almost on cue this guy appeared just as we arrived to start the day.

Love the toucan. Great pose, nice colors. I wish you could have avoided the OOF leaves, but I understand sometimes you have to take what nature gives you. I still would like to call it mine.

Probably knew just where to perch, also!

Perfect DOF and good detail. A shame about the OOF leaves in front of the tail feathers, but a VERY minor nit!
