Somewhere along the south rim of the grand canyon. Last couple of weekends have lacked anything photogenic. Just waiting for the flowers to sprout and for some fortuitous lighting situations. For now, another image from the grand canyon I shot a few weeks ago.

Thanks John. Every time I visit I seem to find the more intimate scenes more interesting than the vastness of the canyon from the rim, which I never tire of.

Love the light and mix of red cliffs and snow. Snow in the desert always seems so beautiful and unexpected to me. At some point, I'll have to get out there again and see it for myself. Beautiful image Peter.

I love the atmosphere captured here. The hint of what's below this little scene makes this very interesting and pleasant to view. Very nice, and I hope you get some good light soon.

This turned out real nice, Peter. I like how the pale light filters into the canyon behind the point and clips across the ridges below.

Fine light (!), and the snow accents are great. I really like your 'non-traditional' images from the canyon. That takes some creativity and thought, and it almost always pays off as it did here. Nice work, Peter.

A wonderful presentation of this fleeting moment to me, Peter. I especially enjoy the superb lighting conditions.

Another beautiful image Peter. I really like the soft light in the backround and the different view of the canyon. Well done.

I think you did an excellent job at catching the feel of the scene. I almost get a little bit of vertigo looking at it.
