Not much for snow on the island but 10 ins. of rain in the last few days. So here's a winter photo with the streams really running.

I really like this comp, Bill--not an easy subject but you organized it real well. Nice depth too. :toast:

Bill, I appreciate your composition a lot with the strong diagonals immediately drawing my attention and the verticals in the distance making for a more lightweighted feel to me. The inclusion of the surroundings makes for a very nice and interesting framing to my eye.

The greens are lovely and the stream makes a great line leading into the distance.

Nice framing of the logs and stream, well composed. And of course those PNW greens!

I love the composition here, with the vertical lines in the back, the diagonal lines in front, and the soft light lines of the water linking the whole image. We see lots of milky streams in the mossy, green forest images here, which I love, and this is one that is truly unique!

I've got a big soft spot for moss and old growth forests  I think you framed the logs really well. I also like how the forest complements the rest of the shot; although the trees aren't the main focus of the shot they would do well on their own. Great photo.

Gorgeous scene Bill, love the moss covered logs along with the misty BG. Beautifully seen and presented.

A gorgeous scene, and the great light brings all of that out in this. You crafted your comp extremely well, too. I am drawn through the image to the background with it's lighted mist. :toast:

Exquisite composition, Bill. Love those diagonals of the moss covered tree trunks, as well as the fog in the background. Quite a deluge you folks endured.

Excellent forest shot, Bill. It looks a lot like the Alaska coastline forests. Nice job with the long exposure, it's right on the money. Excellent detail and colors also. It's a tough scene to compose but you did great with it. Well done!
