I really enjoy seeing your images which show a face of the planet I don't see everyday, and it's nice to see your face in this one.
In terms of composition, you have so many leading lines pulling the eye of the viewer to the subject, not that any are needed; the surfaces of every slope of sand and of the mountain range at the horizon too. Also the trees, a sort of connect-the-dots line pointing to you again.
Also, it's nice to see you are wearing sandals -- very appropriate for the ground you walk upon.
