The designs on this old cactus skeleton reminded me of the decorative work on Gothic Cathedrals in Europe.
Honest feedback appreciated!

Another intricate beauty. Really enjoy the series of these. Sorta long for a reference piece ...something that would help me with the size that I am looking at...is this about 6 inches across? So maybe a small artifact attached that gives size and contrast...like a feather or lizard....leaf.. (just a thought)... Nature, as you've shown is amazing even in death. Well done!!

Good point Ken! In this case I am sure it was not more than 2" across. I will keep your suggestions in mind for future images!

Very much enjoying this series too. This one feels like it might lend itself to monochrome.

Very cool, Eirini. These just keep getting better and better. I love this one. Two inches across? I had no idea. Great macro work.

I like the orientation of this one. I still think B&W may be the way to go with these.

Beautiful intimate and abstract scene. This might as well give a great black & white

Eirini, I agree with Scott, these just seem to get better and better! I never would have thought this was only 2" across, and that is really interesting. I have really enjoyed this series!

I sure like the intricate designs. The larger lines do a good job of keeping my eyes moving and the warm spots of sand make for nice places for my eyes to rest. This is lovely.

Hi Eirini What a marvelous series, all were great and each has it's own special merits. The title is perfect for this image. it does look like a cathedral. the detail and colors are superb

Great work for me, Eirini. The subtle lighting enhances the structure beautifully to me. A convincing presentation of the reduction to trajectories in nature, which is comparable to the principles of gothic architecture.
