I like the wet snow bouncing of the bird's head John. Very appropriate to see this bird in the snow.

It needs a trip down here John, beautiful warm weather Great shot and not much chance I will ever get to shoot in the snow for birds, so wonderful to see. Sharp and detailed and yep, that snow tops it off nicely. Love it.
All the best john.
Danny.

Terrific perch and comp and the falling snow is a plus! I might try to brighten the eye just a little to bring out that very faint catchlight, but not a lot....you don't want to spoil the snowy day feel. Sharon

The pose and perch are just great. Excellent detail and colors appear to be true. Love the snow. Way better than run of the mill. Nice to see you posting in this gallery again John.

Don't be so hard on yourself John, it has its own bit of magic to be sure.
I especially like the 'sleet' falling through the frame, and they way it's 'bouncing' off the bird.
Might remove that tiny brown bit down in front of your perch, frame edge..
Well done!

Way to cool, I really like the blizzard like scene and that you can make out one bouncing from the head. Sharp where it needs to be, nice job in getting this interesting shot, way to go.
