Storm Warning

Wind was so strong it shook my tripod. Had to set up behind rocks. Add sideways rain made for difficult exposures. This one had to be B&W all the way. Wondering if sky is too sharp.

Well toned B & W. The clouds aren't too sharp for me, but I think could be a little darker, solely for drama. Really good work under harsh conditions! :toast:

Bill, I really like this, and the sky looks fine to me. Your b&w processing looks great to my eyes. The overall contrast and tones work so well in this scene for me. The water motion is especially nice too. The larger version is really worth the look as it shows this whole scene off much better.

Absolutely gorgeous b&w tones here! I love all the detail in the sand & the rocks...and the turmoil in the clouds & the water. The sky looks fine to me!

Excellent composition Bill. The B&W conversion is spot on and the sky looks just right on my monitor.

An excellent rendition of tones in this beautifully done B&W, Bill. The drama in the sky compliments that in the wave action beautifully. :toast:

Looks like an excellent image under such severe conditions, Bill. Clouds look just fine to me. At first glance of the thumbnail I thought maybe a bit off balance scene in overall placement, however, after really taking a long look see at the larger version it is a well thought out capture. Nice work.
