sun pillar with windmill

Several times this evening, the sun tried to create a pillar appearance as it passed through layers of clouds. I positioned myself at this windmill just before sunset. My pulse quickened as the sun created this pillar :). There are a few patches of snow left from Sunday's storm. This is a 3 exposure blend, with a partial crop from 135mm. C&C always welcome and appreciated.
