From this morning around 9:00, clear & sunny with a few high clouds.
F/10, 1/1000th, ISO 400, 1D M3, 300mm f/2.8 + 1.4x

The side lighting and head angle are working here. Great detail and sharpness to show off that silky plumage that makes this one of my favorite birds.

Nice image. Soft light on this bird accents the smooth feathers. And No waxwing is just Another Waxwing.
