Emerging Amaryllis

Sony A77
Minolta 100mm macro
ISO 200, 1/8 @ f22

A faux studio shot by using my 40 inch white diffuser as the BG and shooting into the sun to render the diffuser pure white. This is the first of our amaryllis to bloom this spring. I expect the first bud to open tomorrow or the next day. Stay tuned. >=))>

Looks like growing pains, Bill! Very interesting shot. Thanks for the details on the setup-- well done. You bet, I'll stay tuned. Gotta see the full bloom on this!

Nipped that one in the bud, for sure! I am not a big fan of Amaryllis, probably because I have never been happy with the shots I've taken in full bloom. I think I like this better!

Another beauty, excellent soft color, light and comp. Very nice Bill, hoping for something to bloom around my area in the near future.
