Another fall shot from a few years back. I liked how the aspen shone through the snow covered conifers.

C&C welcome, and thanks for looking,

Large Version Included,

Morris

Very cool comp! Slight CCW rotation?? The blue is personal preference i suppose, but i tend to think that if it were neutralized, the yellow would be much more striking.

Beautiful image Morris. Nice contrast between the snow covered trees and the last fall foliage. I really like the comp. I agree with Stan about a little less blue purple but enjoy it as is. Very nice.

Great find Morris, usually when you see snow like this the aspens have already turned yellow so it's great these are still green. There is also a great 'luminescence' about the scene as well, nice work!

The small slice of green and yellow amongst the sea of white makes an excellent and interesting perspective, Morris. Nicely seen and captured.

A subtle abstract composition for me, Morris. The repetition of numerous trees with the small stripe of green ones breaking the pattern makes for an appealing image to my eye.

I think reducing the blue in the background would be my personal preference, but on the other hand it also enhances the abstract character. Anyway, an interesting work for me.

Thats very cool i just saw a mass of trees in the thumbnail but those wee aspen trees shining through are just a great little twist to the scene.

Cool find. I find the rock  or dark are in the upper center a little distracting from the rest of the uniform comp, maybe a pano crop would emphasize the aspen lines created? The abstract feel is wonderful.

I like the stark simplicity of this. I wish the aspen were a little further along in their color change. This has a wonderfully abstract feel to it that I really enjoy

Wonderful abstract, Morris. What great colors and textures and just enough variation to keep it interesting.
