Wild Heliotrope

by Eirini Pajak

Gallery: FloraPosted March 31, 201367 views10 comments
Stack of 75
5D2, 100mm macro, ISO 400, f 6.3, 1/320

The blooms are a little under a half inch. The BG is dark because it was growing under the shade of a Palo Verde Tree.

Comments, criticisms welcome.

I am blown away...75 exposures! Great capture, beautiful details, and the hairs deserve as much applause as the blooms. Nicely done. No nits...

Eirini: I bet I could have gotten the same results at f4  ! What a superb stack and result on such a small subject. This is exceptionally good photography. >=))>

Beautiful, Eirini. I like the fine detail in the subject from front to back right down to the fine hairs, and I like the wonderful bg tones. Expertly and artistically taken and processed. :toast:

Exquisite detail. Could not expect less for a 75 image stack. The bar is sure high now!

Very beautifully rendered, Eirini ! Superb sharpness throughout the image and a lovely variegated background. If anything it might have been nice to see a touch more of the stem, but this is lovely as is.

This is lovely, Eirini. You live in a unique area for miniature wildflowers. These remind me a bit of Spiderwort.
