Stick fight WC 578

Taken at the Minnesota Zoo, these 2 young wolverines were engaged in a paw slapping game of who has the stick. The smaller wolverine on top had a small twig it was playing with when the larger decided it wanted the twig which started a bout of chasing and swatting between the two over who got the twig. The action was quick, and the light was low.

Nice capture, especially through glass! Probably should have left 'em in Michigan, eh?
I like the contrast in sharpness you were able to achieve here. Probably a significant distance from the subjects to the rocks behind them relative to the distance between you and them. Great result in any case..

Love the catch light in the lower wolverine's eye and the tongue on the top one; seems like he is using it to taunt the one below.

Great capture of the action in this image, John, in spite of the low lighting and being handheld. I like the comp and pose of the wolverines you captured here. Animals can be so fascinating to observe at the zoo. . .at least when they are awake. Looks like these guys were having fun!

The cuteness factor is off the charts for this one. I have never seen a living wolverine. I envy you. The top of the rock and the stick seem a tad too bright, but that is an easy fix. Good job on capturing an appealing image.
