Mohave Buckwheat

Stack of 30

I can't remember exactly, but I think the aperture was 4.5. This cluster is about 1" across.
I did other versions with smaller apertures that showed the stems around it more (it is a little shrub) but my husband liked this version the best.

Comments & criticisms welcome.

I especially like (LOVE) this one!! The comp is great and the background colors mirror the colors of the flowers. Nicely seen and captured!

This is a lovely image, Eirini! I really like the clarity of the flowers and that beautiful blurred background. Very nice comp, colors, and subject. I especially like the sprinkling of open flowers amidst the buds. Great job!

Beautiful comp and color, love the way the flowers blend so well with the BG. Beautifully seen and presented Eirini.

Very nice, your husband knows what he's talking about here!
I especially like the predominance of buds interspersed with the few open blossoms :toast:

Another mini-macro marvel! What amazes me is your ability to make minuscule focus adjustments. This is great, for all the reasons stated by others. Keep up the good work! :toast:

Eirini: I like that you can't really see the stem and these seem to be floating in the BG. Beautifully crafted image.>=))>

Executed in your best style, Eirini ! The flowers seem to dance before the eyes against that lovely graded background.
