Inside Joseph's Coat

It's that time of year again, and our Joseph's Coat roses are bursting with color. Our one bush has at least 30 blooms right now.
I suppose you'd call this a 'semi-abstract', I just call its colors amazing:smile:
F/9, 1/800th, ISO 500, 1D M3, Sigma 150mm f/2.8 and overcast with a breeze at times.
Note: The 'Purchase Print' image is slightly closer.

30 blooms? Lucky you! Not much blooming here in Pa. as of yet. Love all the shadings of yellow in this beautiful flower. . .the color is "amazing".

Wow....that is a lot of blooms on one bush! The color sure is lovely...nice closeup! I wonder why it is called Joseph's Coat?

I love the "hot ziggety" colors of this Joseph's Coat! How about a few with some of the other colors on your 30 blooms?

Some pretty intense color there, Howard, but very striking. Makes me happy just looking at it. Then I look at my own empty garden and tonight's 20 degree forecast, and I just get sad all over again. :frown:

Beautifully composed, Howard, with perfect dof. I especially like the way the flower centre fades from sharp to soft - expertly done !
