Through The Trees

I shot this a few weeks ago while shooting fox..or searching for them away. I gave up on the fox when I saw these trees and decided to grab my fisheye lens. Two blended images one exposed for the sky and the others for the trees. I am debating a b+w conversion.

Love the implied motion in the trees Nick. It looks like they are dancing. Beautiful sunstar too.

This is great - the perceived movement is very engaging. I'd love to see a b+w version.

Nick, not at all easy to make a scene with a fisheye keeping it interesting and at the same time minimize the extreme perspective to a point. With that all said, this is an excellent image from the arrangement you've chosen. It's always nice to see some experimentation over standard ideas, and this one works very well.

Very cool image Nick. I like what the distortion is doing making the trees appearing to move. Very nice.

It makes for a very surreal image. Very cool! While the colors are fine, I really think this would make a better b&w.

Wonderful Nick. Love this in color, but would be interested in seeing the B&W conversion you mentioned.

Very creative image Nick, really cool  My feeling is that the scene is too 'busy' to work well in B&W, but worth giving it a try.

Nick, This is really a cool shot! I think the color looks great but like others a b/w version would be interesting to see. Nice work on this! :toast:

what a fun image. I like the color and the sense of movement but b&w might be pretty dramatic, too. I love this one

This is a way cool scene, Nick. I love the character of the trees along with the sun star. I hope you post a B&W conversion.
