At the Sugar Grove Nature Center, in one of the old building a row of rocking chairs face towards the prairie. Visitors can rock and watch as the life of the prairie unfolds.

I think it may be possible to do that and still leave the rocking chair backs significantly askew; an expected result of their rounded bases and also their function of rocking as opposed to remaining straight and in-line like their surroundings. Not only the wood, but also the light.
As it stands, the cognition eventually comes to that view, but it has to work to do so. Using tools like perspective crop and transforms to make the context of the chairs plumb would help to make recognition of the geometric essence more immediate, I think.
