An ubiquitous and aggressive urban weed/garden edge plant. It is a weed in sidewalk cracks and back alleys. It is also a nice accent in a well tended garden.

An 11 image focus stack in Zerene Stacker.

I like it Phil, beautiful colors and detail, to pretty to be a weed, and they definitely blend beautifully with the background.

I like the frontal shot of these flowers with the many, many buds waiting to burst forth. Wonderful details from all your stacking and nice colors. I have a gold leaf version of spiderwort, "Sweet Kate", which has not been a problem with being invasive. . .maybe because it's a hybrid. Great image of these flowers, Phil.

Excellent, Phil. Not a plant I'm familiar with out here. It has some really cool geometry and you captured it very well.

A beautiful photo of a beautiful flower, Philip. The blue of the spiderwort is special. For a critique: I wish that the magenta pollination were removed for seen the natural color of the flower.
Take care.
