HERE'S A BIGGIN'

Foggy morning sunrise on Signal Mountain, over the Snake River, and located within the Grand Teton National Park. Dead ghostly trees along the shoreline near and far.

I like the scene a lot, also the atmosphere. The processing looks a bit orton-ish to me, but it works for the scene.

This really is a gorgeous scene, but the Orton technique is a wee bit heavyhanded for my taste.
Still, if that's the desired effect, than I reckon you succeeded here.

This is one gorgeous scene! I love the way you processed this too. Maybe a little heavy on the sharpening and orton effect in the foreground layer?

I can't wait for fall!!

I really like this a lot, Matt. The subtle light with the fog and autumn color combine for a nice color palette and mood. Nice composition as well with the meandering of the Snake river and a unique view from Grand Teton.

Glorious scene that does a great job of pulling my eyes from the foreground into the distance. The warm but gentle set of colors add even more. The foreground shrubs in particular look oversharpened to me.

The warm/warm with cool in the middle works great for layered depth. The processing is truly masterful.

love the scene and the colours. not so big on the orton (or whatever) effect ... as I am not sure it really needs it!

Exquisite image. The delicate S curve of the river together with the amazing array of layers, gently draw the eye back. Love the tonality you achieved throughout the image and the wonderful textures. Incredible work.
