Rock Town pillar

I took this recently at Wilson Lake, north central Kansas. A steep hike from the road down to the water leads to this iconic rock formation, in Rock Town cove. Normal water levels cover the bottom of the pillar, and connect it to another pillar. Water levels are very low atm, and have exposed the base of the pillar. I was standing in the water, not quite knee deep, with the camera near the water line carefully dodging the rolling waves. 7D, ISO 200, f/11, 1/250, 11mm, ~1 hr before sunset, cropped to format. I am posting this here because of all of the names that are unfortunately etched into the rocks.

Very interesting rock formation Rob. I like how you shot this image out in the water. It's unfortunate that the names are etched into the rocks.
