What a stunning scene and composition! And that light....mama!
I really like how after savoring the beauty of the foreground, the eye follows the foliage between the trees as it fades away. No nits from me. Just a spectacular image!

Wish I could have caught the blooms when I was up there, I was a few months too late. One of the most beautiful places I've ever been. This definitely makes me want to go back during the blooms.

There is something so deep and pure when looking at a forest scene as you've captured. Delightful...majestic...timeless. The new rhodie foliate stands out with the blooms for a fresh feel. The fog ...cool and saturated air.... Well done! If anything I would want the outside edge of the rt tree included in the frame...a tad tight for me...that is utterly minor nit...so much is 'right' with this.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for, end of the month. Was there for a day back in early January and caught some good light. Hope for some fog and flowers when I get up there in a few weeks. This is quite nice!

Beautiful shot, Phillip. In addition to setting the stage for the mood, the fog really helps the vibrant greens and pinks stand out. I also like your composition. Very nicely done!!

I love how overcast light saturates the colors and this view proves that again. The glow of both the leaves and the flowers in the foreground shrub is just wonderful and they contrast so well with the redwoods disappearing into the mist. Spectacular!

Dreamy! Nearly perfect in my eye. The only thing I would be tempted to do is reduce overall green saturation a hair. :toast:

Thanks for all the comments/suggestions.

Mark Metternich: Here's a repost with slightly less green saturation and I also adjusted the hue towards yellow just a tiny bit. It's a subtle change but I think it looks a bit more natural this way. Thanks for the suggestions! :toast:

Incredible, superb image. The soft glow of the rhododendrons and the massive presence of the redwoods together with the fog make this magical. Love it.
