Hello Sharon. Let me start by stating that this is one great bird, and the pose is good as well. As far as the sharpness is concerned, it seems a bit soft to me, maybe the 1/80s is due to that ? I may have cranked up the ISO's a little and have a faster shutter speed. Anyway, the image is appealing as posted ! Have a nice sunday, Cheers, Hans

Looks plenty sharp to me, Sharon. Typical WP pose, well done.

Sharon,
Great bird and great pose.
Regarding the sharpness I might try a tad more but definitely avoiding the over sharpened look.

Excellent. Nice soft light top help with the inherent contrast of the plumage.

Really nice Sharon. I understand keeping the ISO low with the 50D. Soft light really helps with this image. Well done.

Very nice shot! The Red and Greens complimenting each other, makes it easy to see the details of the bird. Nice composition and good photography!
