The foreground elements support the vast landscape and powerful sky. Very artistic... Love it!

What a beautiful depiction. Only wish the two tall things were not by the horse of left.

THIS is the kind of shot that inspires! The feeling conveyed is as if the viewer were seeing horse heaven... rare purity and goodness. Agree with the comment about the fenceline...dang...wish it weren't there.

A very surreal image. I like it very much, my only minor nit would for the FG to be just tad bit brighter. An exceptional composition.

What a beautiful image. It is soft and very pastel looking. As a matter of fact it looks almost like you painted it. Very, very nice.

Try a pano crop with less sky, that cross in the background and the fog really makes this photo unique.

Bobby,

This is a fantastic image! Dreamy, painterly and very expressive. I love that several of the horses are looking up and not just grazing; it gives them and the image a little personality. But the atmosphere, fog, colors, everything are just wonderful.

I'd agree about perhaps cloning the far post that intrudes up in to the fog. The near post bothers me less. If you clone out the near post, or a portion of it, you remove a part of the image that also helps in the story, and that's the fence itself. Visually, to me, if the fence is removed, then the horse on the left doesn't have any breathing room. The presence of the fence however, defines the boundary of the image. And regardless of the fence/posts, this is just a wonderful image.

Very dramatic sky, and the mist and horses are just so peaceful and serene.
Congrats on the WP - quite an achievement for a new member - welcome!

What a glorious scene! It is so full of visual delight by virtue of its content alone. Your choice of the expansive composition and the soft color palette really makes this shine.

Congratulations on the Weekly Pick. :toast:

Anything with horses in it rocks my boat! But it's actually the sky that makes this a special scene. Beautiful!

Looks like the cover of an old Western novel Bobby. Very nice colors, misty and moody, nice capture and well composed scene.
