this image was made at midway geyser basin Yellowstone NP. I was drawn to the almost endless combination of color and pattern. Thanks for looking and commenting Chet

A fascinating location for sure! I like this in general, a nice abstract, but i have one suggestion--i would crop the very top to eliminate those scraggly lines that lead off the top of the frame, they pull the eye a bit. :wavey:

Chet, What wonderful patterns, textures and color! I agree with Stan on cropping the very top. I tried it with a scroll crop and it looked quite nice to me. I think it is nice as is but even better with the crop

I like Stan's suggestion as it makes it more of an abstract. Nice.

A very cool find and a great eye to spot this abstract, Chet. This contains a wonderful array of colors and patterns for the viewer to enjoy. My only suggestion would be the crop already suggested by Stan and Nick.

Wild scene with great shapes, patterns and colors. I would also agree with Stan's crop suggestion.

An interesting abstract, with some fascinating colors and fractal shapes. I agree with a crop from the top - in fact to eliminate the dark upper left corner. This draws some attention to where it should not be.

Thanks for your comments. I see what you are saying and a crop from the top indeed works very well. Chet

Great nature abstract Chet! I'd be tempted to crop slightly from the top, which I think makes it slightly more abstract, but no biggie. Love the color, texture... excellent.
