Sea Blush

As seen on the prairie in western WA State. On a cloudy, showery day, these flowers provided a bright spot. (I've lived here all of my life and didn't know we had a prairie environment in the state! Small-ish in area, but productive!)

D700, 105 VR micro, tripod; f8, 1/100, ISO 400, -0.67.

Lightly crammed. What do you think?

Catherine:
I think you have done well. The slightly curving sprig with two leaves hugging the bloom looks great. Like the cram and the bokeh in the bg. Might consider a slight crop at the bottom but otherwise the image is just perfect.

Wonderful cram Catherine. The color is great and the curve of the stem really makes the shot for me.

Beautiful, Catherine. Perfect dof and pof, and I like the slight cram. Like Gary, I thought maybe a slight crop off the bottom to the start of the purple wash. :toast:

Oh, is this ever a great cram! The gesture of the flower and stem takes it to another level. Then there is the compliment of colors to add to the beauty. Superb work!

Catherine, you have made a queen of this modest and little flower. A cloud of beautiful pastel colors. A cram Nathan's style. Bravo!

Catherine: Oh this is just lovely! Fantastic isolation from a spectacularly complementary BG. This is really good photography. >=))>
