I have no idea what the reaction to this will be?

Nice job on this image. The image is nicely balanced and the colors are excellent. My only critique is that the bright line running through the center of the image distracts me, perhaps you and tone the intensity down a bit?

I like this a lot. There is enough subtle detail in the image that holds your interest and the colors are gorgeous.

Wonderful abstract qualities. My good friends have a similar image hanging above their couch. A very peaceful, marketable image. I like the hint of land n the background.

Very nice abstract image, Ken. The colors are indeed beautiful and the gradations of tone from light to dark and back to light lead the eye through the image. Well done! Chet

Excellent abstract! Love the color gradients and the simple composition. While enjoying a G&T to boot, not fair!

I like how the sky lightly mirrors the water in pattern. Colors are bold and complementary. 50-50 works well in this case, too.
(How much did you have to straighten this in post-processing-- after your G&T? )

Thanks everybody for your kind comments I am very pleased by them. Sunsets over the lake are irresistible.

There maybe more!

Catherine,
Not to sure about the rotation on this one, but I need it even first thing in the morning

Ken,

Outstanding. Minimalistic for sure and very effective. Your title is very effective as well - in fact without the title, I may not have seeked out the "distant land." Beautifully seen and captured.
