Just got back from Churchill Manitoba, Plenty of shore birds and wonderful photo opportunities.
This little fellow is the summum of perpetual movement, constantly bobbing its head and turning in a tight circle. Finally got a couple of sharper shots. Hope you enjoy.

Cropped to 67% of FF.

1/350s, F/9.5, ISO 500.

600mm + TC 1.4 on D800.

Hey Claude, very cool subject but this doesn't appear to be up to your usual quality, plus I notice it's lacking your usual copyright - maybe a PP mistake of some sort or mis-post? It's got that odd softness that makes it looks like it might have been taken through a window, with an odd brownish glare/reflection above and down the right side of the subject.

Yep, something's wrong. I know that you figured this out in the past. The original probably is sharp, but somewhere along the line the sharpness got lost.

Thanks for the comments, this PP work really gets to me. Will rework or re-post a new picture. The original is tack sharp but I messed up somewhere. Sorry about that! :frown:
