Not your usual Meadowlark pose but I kind of like it. To date I have not done much high key stuff. Taken just south of Crescent Lake NWR in western Nebraska.

D300s
Nikkor 300mm f4, 1.4 TC (420mm)
ISO 320
1/800 @ f/5.6
Exposure Compensation +1EV
HH rested on noodle from car window

Comments appreciated.

Nice color and sharpness! Maybe just a tad darker sky. Thanks for sharing.

John,

Very crisp, good composition, and I like high key images like this one. The light is also very soft and you captured the scene perfectly :toast: .........Jim

A very fun pose, John. Nice job on the exposure against that bright bg.
