Palouse Barn
by Matthew Goldsmith
Returned from our first trip to The Palouse a week ago. Thanks to Chip Phillips for a fantadtic introduction, and for the tip on where to find this barn. We managed to arrived for the last light of the day, as some storms were clearing. Large image included. C&C appreciated.

This is awesome! I just love the color combination. It's not often one sees a lime green barn like this, but it sure adds to the overall scene. Beautifully captured. no nits here.

John said "it looks like it's in the middle of nowhere". Definitely true. It was my wife who insisted we continue to follow Chip's directions. As usual, glad I listened to her.
Gary said " I could see a 16:9 crop". I have reposted the image as a 16:9 crop. Not sure which I prefer. I see the point of the crop, although I like the sense of space that the uncropped sky provides.
Lon and Nick commented on the lime green barn. Thanks! I wasn't thinking about how unusual that color was at the time, although perhaps subconsciously that is part of what attracted me to the scene.
Bill, I envy you having lived in this area. My wife wants to move there!
Congrats on the WP!
