An old picture of this pugnacious little fellow. Tight at the tail and ULC branch may be a little distracting but shared anyway.

1/320s, f/8, ISO 640.
600mm on D300. Cropped to 85% of FF.

Thanks for helpful comments.

Nice bird, good details.
If this were mine, I would be attempted to clone out the branch on the left, and something that is on the right.

Love the bird Claude but as already commented the overall image would benefit from cloning out the branch on the left and either cropping out or cloning out the light colours bits on the right.

Nice, Claude. If you have the detail, I'd be tempted to crop it tighter from the upper right corner to minimize the apparent tightness at the tail. The branch in the UL could be removed, if you feel like it.

Very nice picture, he looks like a tough guy. I like the detail and the little glint of light in the eye. As a personal preference, I would probably clone out the OOF branch also.

I am good with all of this very excellent shot, except the OOF branch. I would clone it out in a NY minute, but you may feel differently. The light OOF stuff on the right doesn't really bother me :toast:

Majority wins, here the RP with branch cloned out (in a NY minute Phil), re-cropping however compressed the image too much. Thanks for comments. :wavey:

Agree it looks better without the branch, but that aside, it is a great shot. Love the colors.

Truly a beautiful warbler species! I don't mind the ulc, rather frames the bird given the other similar branches present. Might have centered the bird just a little more, but that's just me.

Lovely shot of one of my favorite warblers. I'm okay with the stick in the upper left; it balances the composition.

Interesting species, never seen it myself. The subject looks great in the larger version! If it were mine, I would be temped the clone the OOF branch of the left side out. Otherwise great as posted ! Cheers, Hans

EDIT: I only scrolled down after writing - making my text a little useless  - nice repost !

A beautiful photo of this great little warbler. Nice details visible in the larger version. Personally I like the first version better also.

Sweet One Claude!!!
