Elegant Clarkia
by Dennis Plank
Or Clarkia unguiculata. A plant that my wife has been growing for years. Oddly, she got it by accident. The seed company supplied it for several years in packages labeled Sunset Flower with a picture of a different flower. When they finally corrected their mistake, she continued to grow it from it's own seeds (it's a pretty prolific self-seeder). This is a wildflower native to California. Our two Washington species are considerably different, but close enough to give me a clue for looking it up.

The petals look a little soft, and I can imagine why - your probably had the focal point in the front to accommodate the large stamens/stigma. If there was an opportunity, moving the leaf coming from the top might have been nice, as it would have enhanced the aesthetics, but its not overly hurting. Stacking might have been another option here provided there was no wind.
Large version shows a few dust spots/specks - easily cloned out.
