From the front yard elephant ears, I know this isn't for everyone, but I liked the shadow and light.

Bob and Charly, This is really well seen and executed. I love the bright green from the backlighting and the abstract composition with the beautiful details. I feel the vertical rib on the left could be excluded to keep all the lines running diagonally across the frame and if possible, a comp without the large dark area on the right will also help show more area of detail. I think the details in the veins is exquisite and you have captured it very well.
It's a great image overall. Love it!

Bob, what a striking abstract! Love all the dark greens and the strong 3D sense from the veins. To me, the vein on the left is a challenge, I like this very much as presented, but I could see cropping the shadow area on its left or cropping the vein. I'd create all 3 versions and spend some time jumping back and forth to see which one I liked best.

Bob - Wonderful abstract. I was wondering what was in store when I clicked the thumbnail and I am pleasantly surprised. Wonderful details in the leaves and good balance between dark and lighted areas of the Colocasia Leaves.
The main vein on the left if cropped, will also make for another interesting abstract composition.

A very interesting study of light and shadow. Really strong color and detail as well. I like the crop suggestion, but this is still a superb image.

A fine image, Bob. The colors, textures and lines are all outstanding. The diagonal main lines provide a very nice flow to this image.
