Driving along a Mountain road in Waterton Lakes National Park one afternoon. I thought that these Fireweed flowers were attractive against the Mountain background.

Quite agree, Guy ! This is beautifully composed, and the flowers look great against the greys and blacks of the distant mountain.

Guy - Wonderfully well composed. I like how the flowers do not obscure the tip of the mountain and how the shapes mirror the triangular shape as well.

A beautiful composition your choice of a vertical crop works especially well. I believe any landscape image that makes the viewer long to be there puts it in the exceptional category and this capture certainly does that for me.
