Sunset windmill +repost

A recent outing started with a rainbow and ended with this sunset. I took a series of 3 exposure images, merged them, then cropped this out of the resulting pano. There is a radio tower just to the left of this windmill that I had to account for with the crop. C&C always welcome and appreciated.

Spectacular light show Rob. I like how the windmill seems to be beaming it own rays of light.

Rob,

I am always looking for windmill shots as I travel and this on is as good as it gets. The rays shooting thru the windmill are sweet. :toast:

Some tremendous light, and the off-center windmill creates the perfect focal point to rest and enjoy it. Compositionally it maybe feels a tad tight on the right and at the top.

Thanks for the comments. I went back and restitched the original pano files. I then took the time to remove a couple of radio towers. The largest was between the 2 trees on the left side of the repost. The stabilizing cables were the pits to remove. I would appreciate it if you could take a look at the wider pano. I have a hi res version loaded at http://www.heartland-images.com/Other/temporary/30789638_6Z8JCq . I will be taking the large version down at some point, but it will be up for a while. Are there any artifacts that I missed during cloning? Any other issues? I would like to eventually print this fairly large, so any input would be appreciated.

Cool image Rob. The pano version looks great. I really like how the sun rays in the sky seem to mimic the shape of the windmill. It's almost like there is a giant windmill in the sky!

Rob, I love both of these. The original post has a neat focus on the windmill while the full pano does a great job of capturing the magnificance of a stormy prairie sky.
