A rainy morning in the Tetons, keeping the lupine very fresh and brilliant.

Canon 5d,M3, ISO500, 32mm, f/11, 1/250 sec. Hand held. Processed in Lightroom.

Thanks in advance for any comments or critiques.

I like your composition - you have framed the lupines very nicely. The bright color of the lupines provides an interesting contrast to the moody conditions.

An alternative composition would be to frame it so as to include only the bottom half of this image - I actually think I like that much better.

I think you captured the conditions well. Great flower color! I could see increasing the contrast just a little, but not so much that it becomes oversaturated.

I like Jared's suggestion and agree not too much. Or a mid-tones boost. A very nice comp and scene.

I like the suggestion of making a little more contrast. How about this?

Like the shot Kathy, but don 't understand the need for ISO500 if you got 1/250sec at f11. Did you have a tripod?

I like the repost Kathy. Nice mood to this image and the lupines add a nice pop to the image. Nice job on this.

Kathy,

This is lovely. Great color, helped in part by the diffused light - and I just love the quality of the light here.
