This image is from Valley of Fire State Park. I was attracted by the clean angular lines and massive rock and overall architectural quality. Comments very welcome. Chet

Chet, the deep blue sky is an excellent backdrop and outline for the rock or boulder configuration. For the strong light the highlights and shadow areas held up very nicely overall. Just a really nice strong geological capture here.
This location has been on my bucket list for a long time, maybe someday. Seeing your captures from this locale reinforces my thoughts on the area.

Nice contrasts in textures in this Chet and the blue sky compliments it beautifully. Nicely composed also. Well done.

Chet, You did a nice job on this! I like the shapes of the rock and all the texture this has. The blue sky really sets off the shapes and contrast nicely with the red rock. That almost flat surface on the big vert rock looks like cedar wood grain.

The detail and geometry of the rocks make this one, and the contrasting sky of course. Nice image.

This might be my favorite of your images. I love the strong composition, the bold colors and textures, the excellent balance of elements. Unique and original rank pretty high on my list of good points, too. Really nice work.
