I know lately I have just been posting crescent moon photos. I have been doing this for several reasons, partly due to not enough time to go out an photograph as I have been very busy with shows. Also partly due to trying to photograph the new crescent is what got me started in photography in the first place. So I have been keeping to my roots with this genre of images.
Each month when I go out to photograph it, I try to come up with interesting ways to make it just more than a photo of the moon. This month I decided to create a panoramic of with the moon just before it set behind the Santa Cruz mountains. It is a 4 vertical frame stitch and blend that I did by hand.
Its also the moon that marks the end of the month of Ramadan, the month of fasting for Muslims. I am once again back on a normal eating schedule
Your thoughts on this photo are much appreciated.

This really is very nice and the scene is as simplistic as they come. Excellent idea to make this a pano. Your roots embedded in these type of captures works in most cases, and this is surely one of them.

You know I always and enjoy looking forward to these. I like flow of the panoramic here - nice choice and presentation for the crescent moon. Well done.
